In the summer of 2024, we built our campsite alongside a river stream in central România. The field was hidden away in a valley of the Carpathian Mountains and surrounded by green forests. The scenery of the nature around us was breathtaking!
During the two weeks, we hiked to the top of the mountains in small groups, met very sweet Romanian locals, exchanged stories around the campfire, dipped into the river as often times as we could, made many new friends and shared lots of other beautiful moments.

After entering the valley, walking for a bit, and then walking down a steep (small) hill, we arrived at the campsite. Surrounded by a river, full of little bumps and big stones, this field became our home for the two weeks – a lot of time spent cooling down in the river, running around, playing games, being busy in workshops, watching sunsets, looking at the night sky filled with stars at the campfire, connecting with each other, singing songs, having deep conversations, and just enjoying the atmosphere.
At the end of the two weeks, we did a concert for the locals in a community space of the village. We sang, people were touched, many thanks and appreciations were given, and we left full of energy, celebrating with a little dance party afterwards.
